Cancelling Workshop Download Too Slow Try Again Later Written By Saunders Ings1950 Friday, April 22, 2022 Add Comment Edit howdy people how is it going ? i accept a serious problem with my gmod in past month in the last month my windows crashed and i should install a new one (this windows that iam using and its still win eight) i take been in deep hot water with this gmod thing :| when i luanched steam and recovered my library gmod starts downloading workshop stuff for unlimited and unknown time for and unlimited/unknown fourth dimension i let information technology download for 3 days ! but it was still downloading (the blue lins doesnt appear in that location is only a flat dark-green line going ) i dunno whats the resson merely in privious times information technology got fixed by it ain or somethin that i totally dont know . so today i launched gmod and open the develope console system to understand what is going on ?!! and i see this i cant understand what are these but when i was checking some of the red lines i remmber i accept deleted them(unsibscribed) _________________________________________ Adding Filesystem Addon 'd:\steam\steamapps\common\garrysmod\garrysmod\addons\csstextures' Addon contain game scripts?! Like x i i did it in past but naught happen it came back again :| Might I suggest, unsubbing fully from unused addins. Even the onetime ones that you no longer use. Also, try manually clearing the workshop downloads folder out of the Gmod folder (if any). The above method will also work with clearing the DL Enshroud. Like x 1 proficient point i'll give yous the results i accept noticed something very strange that some of those addon are unsubscribed there are notwithstanding in my addon folder and some of them (less than 25%) are subscribed :| can this thing exist the problem ? Aye. They tend to non uninstall fully. Hence the manual deletion. how can i find the download from the servers ? is there and espesefic folder for them ? the stuff are removed BUT :| it is even so going on :| wtf man ? :| Man I wish I could assist more than but all I can recollect of atm is reinstall the whole game. Like literrally delete all gmod files on your pc. (i suggest you save the files somewhere else merely incase you need them) then "uninstall" and completely download it once again. Worked for me when i had some kind of a trouble my idea is to backup gmod and put addons somewhere else delet if from control pannel and get to steam lbiarary and delet gmod folder adfter that restore gmod and put the mods back and test wish me luck . Might I suggest, unsubbing fully from unused addins. Even the onetime ones that you no longer use. Also, try manually clearing the workshop downloads folder out of the Gmod folder (if any). The above method will also work with clearing the DL Enshroud.
